THE WHY
For the past twenty years, health and fitness has been a very important part of my life. As a wholistic health professional, I have seen the healing power of fitness and nutrition help and heal patients, family members and myself.
Throughout my health and fitness journey I realized no matter how good I felt and how physically fit I was becoming, I would look in the mirror and not like my gym clothes. They were not cute and typically consisted of a oversized t-shirt and leggings. My body was changing but my gym clothes were not. I found myself at a cross-roads to decide between purchasing clothes and purchasing new gym clothes. I wanted to purchase gym clothes I could wear to hang out with friends, go out to dinner, and go to family functions- especially without breaking my bank. I wanted comfort, style and affordability. I knew I could not be the only woman seeking these things. And so, MilkShake was born.
